On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, Ideal Property Group donated 10,000 pieces of face masks to Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) Penang Contingent, as a show of support and appreciation to their tireless effort in combating Covid-19 since the enforcement of Movement Control Order (MCO) on March 18.
Tan Sri Datuk Alex Ooi and Puan Sri Datuk Joanne Phor – Group Executive Chairman and Group Executive Director of Ideal Property Group respectively, handed over the face masks to YDH CP Dato’ Sahabudin Abd Manan – Chief Police Officer of Penang, representing the PDRM Penang Contingent. Also present at the handover were YDH DCP Dato’ Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid –Deputy Chief Police Officer of Penang and YDH Supt A.A. Anbalagan – OCPD Barat Daya Pulau Pinang from the PDRM Penang Contingent, and Dato’ Goh Teng Whoo – Chief Operating Officer of Ideal Property Group.
YDH CP Dato’ Sahabuddin thanked Ideal Property Group for the contribution of the face masks, especially in times like these of dire need.
Earlier this week, Ideal Property Group also handed over 4,000 pieces of face masks to St. John Ambulance of Malaysia, State of Penang. With a mission to enhance the quality of lives of Penangites, Ideal Property Group had in the past consistently participated in key events that underpin its social responsibility. In the current battle against Covid-19, Ideal Property Group hopes that this contribution will help alleviate the shortage of face masks, as it is of utmost important that our front liners are adequately protected when performing their duties.
